Optical DAS leverages the existing transport network to provide RF coverage in wide applications, such as in-building coverage solutions in high-rise buildings, highways, tunnels, metros, etc. Fiber is primarily used for high-speed data networks and has high-availability across the globe.
Shyam Telecom’s Optical DAS system consists of a master unit which connects different Remote units through fiber that provide uniform coverage throughout an in-building environment, from underground car parks to elevators to the highest floors, while seamlessly integrating with the macro networks. Improved Quality of Service (QoS) enables enterprises to move towards fixed-mobile convergence. Reliable and uniform coverage in enterprises provides users with dedicated voice and data communications. Homogenous availability of enterprise voice and data productivity applications enables the fixed-mobile convergence.
Shyam Telecom’s Repeater Management System (RMS) allows for remote monitoring, configuration, and alarm facilities of the system. In an environment that demands high availability and reliability of wireless voice/data communications, RMS allows for active monitoring and alarming of the deployed system.
