Tenants in high rise buildings usually experience call drops and poor voice quality due to interference of signals from multiple BTS sites. Such was the problem faced by one of the key Executives of Hutch India at his residential in Nariman Point, Mumbai, the financial hub of South-Asian region.

Shyam Telecom, along with Hutch India’s network team, proposed a solution whereby Shyam’s repeater would be locked onto a particular BCCH. Even in case of multiple servers, only the frequency from the locked BTS would be amplified at the Executive’s residence.

This solution provided Quality of Service to the executive’s residence.
